Status Foe is the brainchild of Sean Woolsey. Woolsey launched Status Foe out of his parents' garage at age 18 in order to fulfill his ambition of making clothes that he would like to wear. With a dilettante approach, Woolsey would often sell clothes - that he had made himself or salvaged from the local thrift store - to people off his back. For 4 years Status Foe gained notoriety amongst the crowd that Woolsey geared his duds at. Heads turned, people cheered, and the small buzz became a triumphant jubilee. Four years after orchestrating his one man band, Woolsey decided to pursue a full time design job. Two years later, the audacious impetus of the creative mind sparked anew and Woolsey left the 9-5 to travel the globe for a few months. Upon returning, Sean decided he would re-introduce Status Foe to the world as an online store that carried scarce and unique product (mostly from his friends' up and coming brands). The rest is history.
